Congratulations are in order for our client, Principle Pictures, on the World Premiere of their documentary, THE LIST, at the Tribeca Film Festival 2012. The film premieres on Saturday, April 21st at 4:00 p.m. EST at the AMC Loews Village and is one of twelve Feature Documentaries in the festival’s World Documentary Competition.
Boston-based production company, Principle Pictures came to T3Media to license archival footage for THE LIST, a gripping documentary that follows American, Kirk Johnson, as he fights to save Iraqis whose lives are in danger after they worked with him and the U.S. government to help rebuild war-torn cities in Iraq. When the U.S. refuses to step in, Johnson becomes an advocate for these endangered allies, compiling a list of Iraqis seeking refuge and then fighting for their freedom.
Our research team worked with the production team to identify scenic shots of Iraq and Iraq War footage for the film. The content Principle Pictures licensed features historic shots of the 2003 bombing over Baghdad and the tearing down of the Saddam Hussein statue, as well as footage capturing the aftermath of U.S. involvement in the war. If you’re attending the Tribeca Film Festival, we hope you can catch one of the four scheduled screenings of THE LIST.
